Your rank
Your MMR decides your rank. Win matches to climb - beating a stronger team climbs faster.

How ranks work
- Your MMR decides your rank. Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond each have three divisions of 110 MMR: III, then II, then I at the top. After Diamond I comes Master, from 2,325 MMR.
- Above Master sits Grand Master: the top 25 players on the ladder with at least 2,400 MMR - drop out of the top 25 and you're Master again at once.
- You go up a division as soon as your MMR reaches it. You drop a division only after falling 50 MMR below it, so a loss or two on the line doesn't knock you down.
- Everyone starts on 1,500 MMR, in the middle of Gold II. You get your rank once you've played your placement matches.
- A new season puts everyone in the rank of the MMR they start it on.
