Cookie Policy

Last updated: [DATE]

This cookie policy explains how [COMPANY NAME] ("Easy Raids", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on easyraids.com (the "Site").

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the website recognize your device, keep you signed in and remember your choices.

2. The cookies we use

We only use cookies the Site needs to work, and one that remembers a choice you made. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your information through cookies.

  • easyraids_tokenKeeps you signed in after you sign in with Steam.Essential · 2 hours, renewed while you use the site - at most 7 days
  • easyraids_externalCarries your sign-in with Steam, or the linking of your Discord account, back to the site.Essential · 5 minutes
  • .AspNetCore.Correlation.*Protects the sign-in with Steam and the linking of Discord against forged requests.Essential · 15 minutes, or until the sign-in or linking finishes
  • er_deviceRecognises your browser, to protect the service against banned players returning on new accounts.Essential · 2 years, renewed when you sign in
  • themeRemembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme.Functional · 1 year
  • Essential cookies are needed for the Site to work and to keep it safe - without them you can't sign in. They don't need your consent.
  • Functional cookies remember a choice you made yourself, here the theme. The cookie is only set when you choose a theme.

Because we only use these cookies, the Site doesn't show a cookie banner. If we ever add cookies that need your consent, such as analytics, we will ask for it before setting them and update this policy.

3. Storage in your browser

Besides cookies, the Site keeps a few small things in your browser's local storage, for example which result or notice you have already closed, and a draft of a beta application you haven't sent yet. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

4. Third parties

Some of what you do on the Site goes through other services, which have their own cookie and privacy policies:

  • Steam: you sign in on Steam's own site (steamcommunity.com), where Valve's cookies apply.
  • Discord: if you link your Discord account, you approve it on discord.com, where Discord's cookies apply.
  • Google Fonts: the Site's fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address to deliver them. Google Fonts doesn't set cookies.

The Site doesn't take payments yet. When it does, the payment provider will be listed here.

5. How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the essential cookies, you won't be able to sign in. To find out more about cookies and how to manage them, visit aboutcookies.org.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when the Site starts using new cookies. The date at the top shows when it last changed. See also our terms of service.

7. Contact

If you have questions about how we use cookies, contact us at [EMAIL] or on our Discord.
